1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the FlowTrace website (flowtrace.co.uk) and any leak detection services you commission from FlowTrace Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. By using our site or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. English law applies throughout.
2. Our services
FlowTrace specialises in trace-and-access leak detection across London and the surrounding area. Our service is to locate the source of leaks using specialist equipment. We do not carry out plumbing repairs unless this is separately and explicitly agreed in writing before the visit.
3. Quotes and bookings
Any estimate we provide — by phone, email, or via the website quote form — is indicative only and subject to site conditions. A booking is confirmed only when we send a written acknowledgement (email or WhatsApp) referencing the agreed date, time, and scope.
We reserve the right to decline or reschedule a booking if access conditions or safety concerns prevent us from carrying out the work safely.
4. Pricing and payment
- Prices are inclusive of VAT where this is stated. If VAT treatment is not specified, we will clarify before confirming the booking.
- Payment is due on completion of the work unless a different arrangement has been agreed in writing in advance.
- We reserve the right to charge for abortive visits where access is not available or the appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice.
5. Our liability
We carry out all work with reasonable skill and care. However:
- We are not liable for any pre-existing damage or damage that results from the leak itself (e.g. damp, structural damage) rather than from our work.
- Our total liability to you for any single claim is capped at the fee paid for the relevant job.
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
6. Your obligations
When you engage our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about the property.
- Ensure safe, unobstructed access to all relevant areas of the property at the agreed time.
- Ensure that an authorised adult (owner or authorised tenant) is present throughout the visit.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and reports we produce — is the intellectual property of FlowTrace Ltd. Nothing on this site may be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without our prior written permission.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect changes. Continued use of the website or our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
